Basements

A basement asks different questions than a kitchen. Is the slab dry. Is there height for a dropped ceiling and a duct. If the room is meant to be a separate suite, egress, fire separation, and a kitchenette are part of the drawing, not a surprise at the end. Insulation and a vapour strategy come before drywall.
